thats so true and very common. I think the reason is that what’s too ‘close’ is sometimes too ‘unclear’, whereas what’s ‘far’ is ‘crisp and sharp’ to the eyes, most of the time..
Yes you are right…and to add on to that, its only when someone moves far away, comes the realization about the importance of that person being close to you.
So ain’t it better not to overlook them when they were close in the first place..

hmm this has happened to me so many times and i have felt even more unhappy. the reason why, i havent been able to comprehennd coherrently but what i feel is, when we are depressed or grieving we retreat into our shells [conciously or unconciously] it is tough to make sense then to near and dear ones who are confused.but u know one has to understand our loved ones are not mind readers and we in times of distress become complex. its easier then to take and make sense to a complete stranger because the fear of being rejected or judged never plays on our minds
i guess its more to do wid d things being taken for granted by d ppl who r close to us…mayb they know we r strong enuff to overcome them…they want us to stand on our own n find our own path

Hey thats a nice take on it. And you are making perfect sense. True…!! We do get into shells but maybe we do it because we believe that our near and dear ones can break that shell and get us out from that state. Isn’t it that the toughest times bring the best out of a relationship?
Maybe we expect too much…but wouldn’t the world become a perfect place if we stop expecting..!

I know..and you know that I know as well..but think of it. Is it really possible to just stop expecting, wouldn’t it become a perfect world then? I may be an idiot to confess but perfect is scary to me. If everybody stops expecting, the world would be on halt. And what about expectations from one selves aren’t they the fuel to success..personally for me.. To expect is as important as any other emotion in this world..

as far as changing people… we try to change only those whom we love not realizing that love needs freedom to grow and mature…
not realizing that to change someone would mean to force the person to alter her/his basic personality…
and believe me some people have changed for the ones whom they love…
it basically depends you know… tomorrow if you found that the person whom you love is wearing a colour or listening to a music that you just hate…what would you do…?
